Catch Up

Ok~ I know some of you are wanting to know what has been going on with Kailey over the last week. So, here is a condensed version of what took place...she was without her medication for a little over 2 weeks and was starting to show signs of inflammation in her joints. Because we have no insurance, we were looking at paying around $2000 out of pocket for one months supply of her medication. That was impossible for us to do. But not impossible for God! He sent someone our way that was willing to cut a check right there for the full amount!!! God is good! We were absolutely amazed at how God was providing this for us! Well, it turns out that we were given the name of a person from Children's Mercy Hospital(where Kailey goes for her DR. appointments)who wanted to speak with us. So we made an appointment to see her and when we got there she told us how Kailey's nurse had told her what was going on and she had all of the paperwork ready for us to sign to apply for emergency assistance. Within 1 hour we were able to pick up Kailey's meds at no cost to us and go home. I still get goosebumps when I think about what happened. The generosity of the people willing to give us $2000-no questions asked, is what Christian brotherhood is about! Even though we did not have to take that money, we were so blessed at their willingness and Gods provision. We serve a MIGHTY GOD!
