Searching for Preschools
Ok, this is a shout out to all of you moms of preschoolers in the Olathe/Shawnee/Overland Park area. Help!!! I need some tips and advice on finding an awesome preschool for my sweet Kailey. I have started checking into a few places but I would love some feedback on any preschools that you would recommend. I am brand new to this and would appreciate any and all info you can give me, like price, location, when to enroll...all that good stuff! Let's have it!

Sleep and Not Worry
Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you. Psalm 55:22
There was this man who owed his next-door neighbor a hundred dollars. The bill was due the next day but he only had $30. That night the man was so anxious about the next morning that his tossing and turning kept his wife awake. Finally, exasperated, she got out of bed, threw open the window, and yelled to the neighbor, "Hey, Ruben! About the hundred bucks-he ain't got it! Now," she said to her husband, "let him worry!" And they went to sleep.
Have you ever tossed and turned because you are worrying about some issue in life? Perhaps your child? Your husband? A job? A mistake you made? This worry keeps replaying itself in your head. You lose your train of thought, and become stressed out. Sound familiar? It is all to familiar to me!
Now when those thoughts creep into your mind, think on this psalm so you can relax and go to sleep. When God says to cast your burden upon Him and He will sustain you, He means every word of that promise. Remember, God is not capable of breaking His promises.
I have prayed more in the last 3 years than I've ever prayed. During this journey, God and I have become close. I've meekly prayed, I've prayed with anger, with tears, with a pitched voice, with petitions, with praise, and of course with thanksgiving. God has heard me each time and has sustained me. He will sustain you too. Not only that, he will work out the problem that's plaguing you, no matter what it is. God delights in being our God. Let's not rob Him of the joy He gets from shouldering our burden for us. He truly wants to help.
"Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake."

Visit from my Dad
My Dad flew in from Nashville last week! We had a nice weekend. Most of our time was spent at home catching up. It was so nice to see him again. It didn't take the girls very long to warm up to him. Kailey remembered him from pictures and Lauryn met him for the first time! Here are some of the pictures we got.

Time For An Update
I am frequently apologizing for the lack of posting on my part, so I won't this time but please know that I think about it much more often than I write! That really doesn't change a whole lot, does it?! Anyway, we are ALIVE!! Like everyone else, we have been recovering and getting the house back to order after all of the holiday partying. Chris has been working alot of hours and there is talk of even more required hours. This stresses me out...completely. I am one that enjoys my family and actually looks forward to spending time with my husband. The idea of only seeing him about 5-6 hours out of the week is not my idea of quality family time and thinking about taking care of the girls all of that time frazzles me! I just finished a two week break from school and it has been really hard to get back into my groove. It was nice not having to think about writing a paper or researching anything over that break. But, back to reality, and back to my 2 year plan...graduating! The girls are doing great! We are getting ready to celebrate Lauryn's 2nd Birthday. I cannot believe how fast this past year has gone. My baby is growing up so quickly!
I am being yelled at to get upstairs...gotta run!
