Catch Up 101

Hello to all of my long lost blogger friends! I thought about quitting this all together because I hadn't written in so long but a friend reminded me that I could do this at my own pace and write only when I wanted to. Oh yeah, what a concept, right? I had it in my brain that I needed to write everyday with a picture and a great story...and it just wasn't happenning! So, I will give it a try. It feels like we have been living in a whirlwind since I last posted. I won't take the time to bore you with the details but, like everyone else we have dealt with lots of sickness in our family. With my fingers crossed, I will say I think we are all on the mend?! I had mentioned in an earlier post that I was having my own health issues. The doctors finally determined that I have hypothyroidism, and that all of my "issues" were in fact casued by that one little non functioning part! So, it was great to hear that a little pill is all I needed and I would be on my way. I have been on the meds for about 2 weeks now and everyday I feel a little better. SO thank you to all who have been praying for me! The girls are doing great! I think they are both going through a growth spurt. They eat NON STOP! I guess that is good. They are growing like they should, but seriously how many times a week do I have to go the grocery store? I don't know what I would do if I had boys?! Chris is back to the busy season at work and is working longer hours, which I hate ,but there is noway around that. And they make it mandatory that the next 2 months there is no time off allowed. UUGGHH!!! We definately treasure our time with him on the weekends. The Lord is really doing some exciting things in our life... we have been able to get involved with our new church. Chris is playing in the band and I am teaching the preschool class every week. We are getting ready to start small groups soon and we are excited to be able to help out with that too! The Lord is also beginning to provide some direction for us as to what he is wanting us to do as far as getting back into full time ministry, which we have missed very much! God is so good and knows every detail and his timing is perfect. I am so thankful for that!!!
